| We Met "The Grinch" at the Bank. |
Dec 23, 2009
My best buddy and I went Christmas shopping and had to stop at the bank... we thought it would be fun to have a photo shoot. CHEESE!!!! I think we took about 30 photos in the time it took the teller to deposit the $$$. Lets just say the she didn't find it as funny as we did. She is now referred to as The Grinch! Some people just have no Christmas spirit.

I HATE FLYING. The smell of old coffee and recycled air gets me every time. Even worse I hate flying across the country. I swear it's a completely different planet in Texas. Anyway, I got off the plane and had to take off my 20 layers from my flight from Boston. I went from 10 inches of snow to short-sleeve t-shirts and riding with my windows down. I'm not saying it's a bad thing... it's just really hard to pack. All in all, it's good to be home with family and friends. It has been over a year since I've been home.
This picture doesn't have much to do with flying (probably because I was curled up in a little ball on the flight because of my plane sickness) but there were some cool pieces of art. There were these huge guitars in the airport. They picked 150 Austin artists to paint on the guitars and they put all over downtown. My DAD actually did one and it was chosen as TOP 5 and was in a magazine. SWEET!

Wednesday December 9th, I had the chance to talk to Excel's 7th grade class of about 60 kids. I also launched our 2nd Annual T-shirt Design contest with The Academy. I'm really excited to see what the kids come up with. One of them will come up with a new design for Mer+ge. Last year the winner was Yolfred Soriano (Peace: Under Construction).

I felt so grown up today... I came home from work and I hung my clothes up as soon as I got out of them. That's quite the task fo me... I amaze myself. Maybe next time I'll even iron them the night before!
