Mer+ge is the brainchild of Vic Jones, a former women’s basketball team captain and biology/premed major at Boston College (Class of 09). She always knew there was something more to science than chromosomes, DNA, and molecules. During a 2008 plant molecular cell biology class Victoria was struck by the thought that these structures were, in her words, “kind of artsy”. She began sketching in her notebook and before she knew it had more sketches than class notes. The natural step was to sell her unique designs online and so began Mer+ge. ste
